ABOUT THE REALITY MUSEUM

museum: a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored and exhibited.

The Reality Museum is an attempt to organize and situate various worldviews (Frames) in relation to one another within an architectual metaphor: the Museum (as distinct from Platform/Publisher models).

Each gallery within the Museum represents a different perspective. The walls of each gallery contain the various Frames through which Reality can be understood from that particular perspective. The relative location and size of each gallery are determined by various data (political orientation, population, durability, openness) that have been collected about each worldview. The architecture of the museum is defined using parametric modeling techniques.

The foundation for this project is The Memetic Tribes of Culture War 2.0 white paper by Peter N. Limberg and Conor Barnes.

The Reality Museum is a work-in-progress.
